MONTREAL — Two vehicles were engulfed in flames in separate incidents along Highway 40 on Thursday evening.
No one was injured in either incident, said Sûreté du Québec Sgt. Audrey-Anne Bilodeau. The first car, a Winnebago, caught fire about 5:20 p.m. along Highway 40 eastbound near Trois-Rivières.
The second, reportedly a Lamborghini, caught fire shortly before 7 p.m. on Highway 40 westbound near Terrebonne. The second incident forced the closure of one of two lanes of traffic in the area.
Police are investigating, but Bilodeau said the fire involving the luxury sports car was likely caused by an electrical problem.
